Angie Buxman

Angie Buxman has been an artist from a young age. "I have always been intrigued by the same subjects including people, sculptural shapes, and color." Coming from a creative family, Angie was encouraged to pursue her artistic endeavors as a youth. She studied fine art at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado and at Metropolitan Sate College in Denver. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing.

Angie continues educating herself in the arts through the Art Student's League of Denver. Angie's work is figurative and bold, expressing energy and emotion through the use of color and line.

All of Angie's subject matter comes from her life experience including the focus on aquatics. The fish were inspired by a trip Tulum, Mexico. Angie's work includes finished and commissioned works in mediums such as acrylic and oil on canvas paintings, conte and charcoal drawings, pen and ink drawings, woodcut prints, murals, mosaics, and custom painted furniture.
